Can Compression Stockings Help Control Cellulite?

What Is And What Causes Cellulite?

Predominantly women (approximately 80-90%) are affected by cellulite, which presents itself with the dreaded “orange peel” skin texture.  It is most frequently found in the thigh, hip and buttocks area. Cellulite is not Cellulite In The Thighsconsidered a “medical condition” but rather a cosmetic issue and treatments are therefore in most cases not covered by medical insurance.

There is no clearly defined reason for this condition.  In many cases, these bumpy and lumpy fat deposits are caused by the sum of various hormonal and genetic factors that are difficult to pinpoint.  Adverse lifestyle and eating habits, insufficient hydration, smoking, alcohol, high heels, tight clothing and blood circulation problems are just a few of the culprits that can most definitely contribute to or worsen cellulite.

What Can You Do To Reduce Cellulite?

Regardless of the promises of many high-priced lotions, creams and other therapies regular exercise and a balanced low-fat diet with lots of fruit, vegetables and fiber still remain the most promising course of action to combat the dimples and bumps of cellulite.

What Do Compression Stockings Have To Do With Cellulite And How Can They Help?

Various manufacturers have designed innovative compression stockings and tights with unique knitting and weaving structures of elastic fibers.  These compression garments, which are often patented, provide a pushing, squeezing and micro massaging action with the help of a person’s natural body movements.

Other cellulite fighting options are special stockings made of fibers that are infused with microcapsules that store caffeine and other blood circulation supporting and fat burning substances.  According to the makers of these stockings the substances are released over time stimulating the blood circulation of the skin tissue and promoting the disintegration of the fat.

Manufacturers of these super stockings claim that they stimulate the circulation in the upper layers of the skin, which reduces fluid stored in the skin tissue and they are said to help in breaking down the pesky cellulite fat deposits.

I’m 26 and have quite bad cellulite on my bum and thighs, and sort of on my lower arms- I’m very conscious of it and use a body brush every I take a bath but, it doesn’t seem to help. However I’m scared of stopping using it in case my cellulite gets even worse.

Fatty tissue on the thighs is definitely an very common concern which 90% of females of nearly every age encounter sometime in their life. Dimply skin might be compared to lemon peel.

Your diet is a major contributor to your cellulite problem, therefore you need to remove as much saturated fat from your diet as possible. This means no more take-away food or foods that are deep-fried. You also want to limit your intake of foods that are high in toxins. To combat the toxin and saturated fat in one go you should reform your diet to contain more amounts of fresh vegetables and fruits. You also want to limit your consumption of alcohol, you should rather drink more water to help flush out the toxins naturally.

What is worse than being fat? Stretch-marks Close, but not quite. It’s actually the embarrassment of having unflattering cellulite on your body. Having bits of your body jiggle is one thing but having visible cellulite is actually just as gross for every woman. As we all know, not all of the female population in the world are born with the flawless bodies of Giselle Bundchen, Heidi Klum or Kate Hudson who have incredible sleek bodies. The word cellulite is actually the combination of the French word for cell and the suffix -ite, which pertains to disease.
