Compression Stockings Can Actually Enhance Your Wardrobe And Help To Preserve Your Leg Health

January 20, 2012 Gregory 15 Comments

Out with the Old and In with the New Compression Stockings

Long gone are the days when hearing the word compression stockings made you cringe or may even have sent a shiver down your spine.  Compression stockings have evolved from a once ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.  Obviously ducks and swans have nothing to do with compression stockings – I was merely painting a word picture to show that you no longer have to worry about compression stockings looking frightful.

If you are still holding on to the old stigma attached to compression stockings and an image of Grandma’s beige rubber stockings immediately springs to mind, you should definitely take a new look at compression hosiery.  You will discover that much progress has been made and that compression socks, compression stockings, compression leggings and compression pantyhose have gone through a major transformation.  You literally will be hard pressed to identify today’s compression hosiery for what it is.

Fashion Compression Stockings are Here to Stay

Manufacturers of compression stockings have really stepped things up and discovered that if they make their leg wellness hosiery resemble fashion hosiery they become more appealing and will be more readily accepted by fashion conscious consumers.

Stylish Compression Hosiery is Blazing a Trail Into Mainstream Fashion

If you are looking for stylish compression stockings, you will find them in a range of fashionable colors, knitted with sheerer and more advanced nylon and Lycra fiber combinations suitable for work or play.  If your preference is hosiery with fun design patterns you can now have that with compression stockings as well.

Fashion forward manufacturers and marketers alike seem to be pulling out all the stops to offer health conscious customers compression socks, stockings, pantyhose and leggings that will complement their wardrobe just as well as mainstream fashion hosiery.

Given the fashion explosion in compression stockings and support hosiery you can do your legs some good and nobody will have to know.  The term graduated compression stockings may not come easy to the lips of a fashionista but the aesthetic and colorful varieties of the latest compression hosiery are sure to please individuals from all walks of life.

I really love the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. Often times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!
