Is Thigh Length or Below the Knee Length Compression Better Protection against PTS?

A newly published 2-year study based on clinical trials draws the conclusion that thigh-length compression stockings do not offer better protection against post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) than below the knee compression stockings.  In addition, thigh-high compression hosiery is also less well tolerated.
